Compact binoculars are just that, small, light weight, easy to handle and easy to carry. Because of their small
size though you do get a trade-off in smaller objective lenses, lower magnifications and smaller eye relief.
But because of their size they are great for those with smaller hands, easy to carry on vacation or to a sporting
event or concert, and they act as a backup pair, especially for those times when you are caught without your
regular pair.
